- I want you to talk to a friend of mine.
There's a gun dealer named Carla Brunelli who would like to meet you. She's a very responsible, proactive woman who's helped a number of heroes in her time. She is deeply troubled by the Clockwork. Their presence in Skyway City means that she can usually be found there.
Carla is tough but fair.
I'd like you to go and talk to my friend Tristan Caine. He's an environmental activist who keeps a close eye on everything that might impact the city's welfare, including criminals. He might have some good tips for you on the Vahzilok. Tristan has a lot of political connections, so he keeps near the city's center in Skyway City.
Have you ever stopped by Sanjay's News? The owner, Sanjay Chandra, is a great guy, real civic minded. He's always looking for ways to help heroes with the Lost and the Skulls. Sanjay's got the scoop over in Skyway City.
Sanjay is one of the most polite people in all of Paragon City.
There's a talented young lawyer named Athena Currie who you should talk to. She's a big community activist and has had some serious run-ins with the Clockwork. Miss Currie practices law in Steel Canyon.
Athena can really use the help of a hero like you.
I know a lawyer, Everett Daniels, who's a pretty good guy. He goes after the big corporations and even the government sometimes, but he's usually on the right side of things. He's always got a lead on the Clockwork. Mr. Daniels' practice is in Skyway City.
Everett will get you into the thick of things.
Jill is very serious about catching the bad guys and is willing to give valuable info to any hero who can get the job done.
There's an EPA investigator named Kyle Peck who's known for working well with heroes. I'm sure he'd be happy to help you out as well, and, more importantly, I think you could help him against the Vahzilok. Kyle's connections keep him in Steel Canyon most of the time.
Kyle is fiercely dedicated. As long as you show commitment to helping Paragon City, you will have a strong ally.
You should talk to Haley Philips over at the Health Department. She specializes in identifying and dealing with health threats posed by the Hellions and the Circle of Thorns. She's always looking for more help from the city's heroes. She can be found in Skyway City.
Haley has very strong beliefs about safety.
You might want to go see Hugo Redding, a physician's assistant who specializes in taking care of heroes. He also moonlights as a reporter for a medical website, so he's always hearing interesting tidbits about the Hellions and the Circle of Thorns. Hugo hangs out in Steel Canyon.
Hugo is keyed into the latest medical practices.
There's this kid, Alfonse Rubel, who's a courier. He zips all over the city, delivering important packages and messages. He sees a lot of what's going down with the Lost and the Skulls. Al's route has him in Steel Canyon for the next few days.
Alfonse is almost always on the move. If you catch him at rest, he can help you out.
Dr. Trevor Seaborn expressed an interest in meeting you when I told him about your good work. He's a psychiatrist specializing in criminal behavior, and an expert on the Hellions and the Circle of Thorns. Dr. Seaborn is in Steel Canyon.
Trevor has a brilliant mind, and his insights on criminal behavior are invaluable.
I suggest you meet Wilson Zucco. He's an ex-gang member who's turned his life around, and he knows the Lost and the Skulls better than anyone. He also has a great deal of information on the Vahzilok. Wilson keeps an eye on the Lost from within Steel Canyon.
Wilson is one of the only people in the city who bridges the gap between the law and the streets.
I suggest you go speak to Sgt. Suzanne Bernhard in the street crimes division. She's a good person to know, especially when you're dealing with the Tsoo or the Council. Sgt. Bernhard works the desk in Skyway City.
Suzanne always has her eyes on the streets.
I know this guy, his name's Cho Ge. He's a little shady. He even used to be a gangster, but these days he's working for the good guys. He knows everything about the Tsoo and the Council. Cho Ge hangs out in Skyway City nowadays.
As long as you watch your step with Cho Ge, you will benefit from his knowledge
Detective Karen Parker has a great reputation as a tough but fair-minded cop. If you're respectful and show her you're competent, I'm sure she'll be happy to work with you on the Tsoo and Council. Detective Parker investigates crimes out of the Skyway City precinct.
Detective Parker can be harsh, but only when it's warranted.
FBI Special Agent Warren Trudeau would like to have a word with you. He's particularly eager to work with new heroes like you in combating the Tsoo and the Council. Agent Trudeau is on special assignment to Skyway City.
I think you will find Agent Trudeau to be very helpful.
Wes Schnabel knows better than most that being a private eye isn't much like it is in the movies. That is, unless you work in Paragon City. With so many kidnappings and hostage takings going on in the city, there's always someone looking for a missing loved one. Wes is a recently retired cop who is just getting his practice started. He deals a lot with gang-related crimes and missing persons cases. Wes works closely with heroes whenever he can. As a retired cop, he knows that's the best way to get things done in this city.
Prior to Introduction
Buzz off, I'm in the middle of something. Better yet, go see Active Contact.
It's a tough town,. I hope you have what it takes.
- Got some rough ones for you.
- I want you to look into some things for me.
Clear out some of those cases,. Then we'll talk about a new job.
Too Low Level
I'd like to talk to you when you reach Security Level 10/14. I think you might be able to help with something then.
No More Missions
You solved all my cases,. You should help out somebody else.
- Inspirations (Luck, Catch a Breath, Enrage)
- Level 10 Training Enhancements (100% base costs) (Power 10 only)
I am starting to think you've got what it takes, my friend. I've got a number of new Enhancements for you to look at in my store. Call me if you need a clue.
You're as good as anyone I've seen,. I followed my nose to some new, powerful Enhancements I think might interest you.
The Bonefire Plot (10-14)
You've kept the bandana of a defeated Skull as a souvenir of your crusade against the gangs of Paragon City. It's an adventure you've come to think of as:
You took the cloak to Azuria, who was relieved to see you. One of the MAGI's employees had been kidnapped, and Azuria sent you to the rescue. When the battle was over, the rescued mystic had a story to tell. She had learned that the Hellions were working with two other gangs: the Outcasts of Steel Canyon and the Warriors of Talos Island. The three gangs were trying to flood the underworld with magical artifacts.
Your work against the gangs of Paragon City kicked up into high gear when you went to speak with Athena Currie about the Skulls. She asked you to break up a Skulls hideout. There you found a ledger which connected the Skulls, the Trolls, and the Family in a Superadine cartel. You took the ledger to Detective Carla Brunelli, a member of Paragon City's gang unit. At her direction, you went after the Skulls' main headquarters, and found yourself in the middle of another brutal gang fight. You defeated all the warring gang members and emerged victorious. However, the ledger had mysteriously disappeared from Carla's office, taking with it any hope of convicting the Family on drug charges.
Stop the gang war
Hey there, Skull leaders, Marrowsnap, is leading a bunch of his guys into a known Hellion hideout. I'm afraid a conflict like that could spill out onto the streets and endanger the lives of our citizens. We need some hero presence down there to stop that gang war. Will you do it?. I heard a bad rumor today. It seems one of the
Make sure that those two gangs know that their squabbles are being monitored!
I really need you to stop those two warring gangs!
The door hangs on its hinges. It looks like the Skulls have already made their entrance.
- Arrest all gang members, Look for clues
- Seek cause of gang war
You defeated the villains and found a mysterious cloak.
You have recovered the Cloak of Cold Comfort.
Robe of Cold Comfort
This mystical robe was crafted by the enchantress Yanamahri. It carries her unique mystical signature.
- The name of the cloak varies. Possible names include Robe of Cold Comfort and Cloak of Bitter Grace.
- The name of the enchantress who crafted the cloak varies. Possible names include Atsegine and Yanamahri.
- Marrowsnap (Skulls Bone Daddy) (Boss)
- Pyromaniac (Hellions Fallen Buckshot) (Lieutenant)
- Jawbreaker (Skulls Death Head Buckshot) (Lieutenant)
This cloak clearly has some sort of mystical power. I wonder what the Hellions wanted with it.
It sounds like my suspicions were correct. The Skulls are looking to increase their turf. This could get bad.
Take the cloak to Azuria
The Skulls might make a second attempt to get the cloak, so look out.
Take the cloak to Azuria
You told me you were going to deliver that cloak to the MAGI Office.
- Take the cloak to Azuria
You had better take this extra emergency teleporter, in case Yanamahri needs it.
Defeat gang leader and guards
Azuria asked you to rescue someone? Well, what are you waiting for? Get to it!
It's cold in here; the building hasn't been heated since it went out of business years ago.
- Defeat gang leader and guards
- Find missing mystic
You have rescued Yanamahri.
|When you rescued Yanamahri', she told you:
'Thank you so much. You can't imagine the threats they made! I did discover some interesting things. It seems that these Hellions are doing the bidding of another group. They, and another gang called the Outcasts, are working for the Warriors of Talos Island. For some reason, the Warriors want to flood Paragon City with minor magical items. I don't know what they are about, but it can't mean anything good for the city.'
- The name of the enchantress varies. Possible names include Atsegine and Yanamahri.
Good job on getting Yanamahri out of there. You know, she crafted the Robe of Cold Comfort you recovered from the Hellions earlier. I wonder if they found her by tracing the mystical energy she transferred to that cloak?
The Hellions seem to be gearing up for a fight. They even went so far as to kidnap a MAGI mystic to tip the scales in their favor! Well, at least we have a good idea where they are getting their backing from now. Their connection to the Warriors' artifact trade is a secret worth knowing.
Take the message to Athena Currie
You did a great job freeing Yanamahri from the Hellions, but it looks like our gang problems are just beginning. The Skulls are moving into Kings Row in force, and we need to step up the presence there. Will you take this message to my friend Athena Currie? She has friends on the police force; she should be able to get the extra people we need.
Be sure to tell her to ask for some extra cops in Kings Row.
Talk to Athena Currie
Athena Currie is waiting for you.
- Talk to Athena Currie
If Wes Schnabel thinks it's important, I'll ask for some extra cops on patrol in Kings Row. I've been worried about the situation there as well. In fact, one of my informants gave me a tip on some Skull activity over in the old Hyperion Building. I'd like you to check it out for me. See if you can find out what they're up to over there.
Defeat Skull leader and guards
Athena Currie wanted you to check out the old Hyperion Building, so get to it.
It looks like Athena's source was right. This is definitely a hideout for the Skulls.
- Defeat Skull leader and guards
- Find evidence of Skull plan
You have defeated the Skulls and recovered some evidence.
You found a ledger!
This ledger contains records on drug manufacturing and sales. It belongs to a large group called the Superadine Connection, which includes the Skulls and the Skyway City Trolls. The group is presided over by the Family, a powerful gang from Independence Port.
Wow, this ledger you found is great! Looks like the Skulls' entire drug operation is summed up in here, along with their connections to the Trolls and the Family. Now, that's what I call juicy info! I am sure the police will love this.
It's starting to look like the Skulls and Hellions are coming together for a big clash of the pawns,.
Take the ledger to Carla Brunelli
Carla Brunelli wants to see that ledger you took from the Skulls. She's on the gang task force here in Paragon City, and she's the best person to handle all this new info about the Skulls' Superadine connections. Do me a favor and take that ledger to Carla Brunelli.
Do whatever Carla asks of you, all right?
Take ledger to Carla Brunelli
You need to get that ledger to Carla!
- Take ledger to Carla Brunelli
Wow, this ledger is everything Wes Schnabel described and more! It seems that the Family has been supplying the Skulls with Superadine, and the Skulls are then selling it to the Trolls, keeping the Family's nose clean. Lining up for the opposition, we've got the Hellions, the Outcasts, and the Warriors. It looks like the Warriors have a huge artifact trade going, and the Hellions and Outcasts are in on that action.
I need you to get to Perez Park and start putting the hurt on both the Hellions and the Skulls. Hopefully you can get info on one of their headquarters. Then we can put a big dent in their organizations.
Locate gang headquarters
Carla wanted you to start putting the hurt on both the Hellions and the Skulls in Perez Park.
- Locate gang headquarters
- Defeat 20 Hellions and 20 Skulls
One of the defeated thugs gave up the location of the Skulls' main base.
Defeat all gang members
One of the Skulls rolled over? Excellent! Now that we know the location of their headquarters, you can show them who has the power in Paragon City!
These cave walls resound with the sounds of gunfire and flame.
- Defeat all gang members
You took down the Skulls' base.
You performed great in there,. The city and its people owe you a debt of gratitude! I don't know if you heard, but that ledger was stolen from Carla. It's a darn shame; the drug connections it described would have let us put away several ranking members of the Skulls, Trolls, and Family!
You saved a MAGI mystic, took down those warring gang members, and greatly expanded our knowledge of how the gangs in Paragon City operate. , nothing can diminish what you accomplished here. This was your greatest victory to date!
Hit the streets and defeat a few Council troops
There has been a marked increase in Council activity since they ramped up their recruiting. Can you hit the streets and defeat a few Council troops? Those thugs need a wake-up call. Steel Canyon is particularly overrun, though I'm sure any zone in the city would welcome your assistance.
The techs at DATA were wondering if you could test out these Cryoprojection Bracers for a short while.
These Cryoprojection Bracers will shoot a beam of ice at the target. Let us know how they work out.
Cryoprojection Bracers Damage (Cold/Smash), Ranged, Foe -Recharge
These bracers use a concealed Freon cell to create a beam of freezing cold. The Cryoprojection Bracers slow the target's attacks for a time. There are 30 charges.
You haven't dealt with enough Council troops yet.
- Slow spread of Council
- Defeat 10 Council
You have slowed the spread of Council.
Looks like those Cryoprojection Bracers worked out well for you.
Shut down the Council recruiting facility
The Council is stepping up recruiting in the area. We just got a lead on one of their main headquarters. I need you to shut down that Council recruiting facility. We can't let them continue to grow.
The base leader is called Archon Rayburn. Take him out, and the whole base will fall.
You need to shut down that Council facility. They are recruiting more than ever.
- Defeat Archon Rayburn and his crew
With Rayburn in jail, the Council recruiting machine will be slowed down significantly! Good work!
Shut down the Council cell
A cell of Council troops has taken over a couple floors of an abandoned office in Paragon City. They are using it as a planning and staging area for attacks throughout the city. I need someone who can go in and shut down the Council cell.
Please take extra care to see that no one escapes,. If the cell's ringleaders get away, we may have to consider this mission a failure.
Last week's bombing at the exchange was planned from this cell, and I'm sure they're planning similar attacks as we speak. The Council has become much bolder since they ousted their old regime. They are being led by Archon Flynn. Take down Flynn and his bodyguards, and the cell will disperse.
You really need to take down that Council cell.
The offices are in disarray, but someone has made an effort to make this place habitable. In its current condition, it's an excellent staging area.
- Defeat Flynn and his guards
- Don't let Flynn escape!
Failure - Despite your efforts, Flynn escaped.
Name of Archon is randomly chosen.
Debriefing Mission Failure
Well, Flynn is still on the streets. I'll tell my contacts to watch out for him, but to be honest, we may have lost our shot at bringing him to justice.
Debriefing Mission Successful
You shut down that cell by defeating Archon Flynn. He's singing like a canary; he's already given up the locations of several other Council cells. Excellent work.
Talk to the Boomtown Security Chief
Talk to Security Chief
I don't know why they do this, but the Clockwork are becoming more of a menace every day. Watch out for the huge monster, Babbage!
Don't let the Security Chief down,.
- Talk to Security Chief
Here is some info on Boomtown,. I need you to stop the Clockwork! You could start looking for them in Primer or the Cannonade.
Baumton was the city's first marketplace, where tradesman and farmers went to sell their wares. After the Rikti Invasion, people started calling it Boomtown, because the devastation reminded them of a bomb crater. It's pretty dangerous. If I were you, I wouldn't go in without a few other heroes for backup. The place is infested with those Clockwork robots. They look like toys, but they cause plenty of havoc by stealing bits of machinery and metal from all over. Even worse, a giant clockwork monster called Babbage prevents any pacification of the zone. Be especially careful of him.
Keep peace in Boomtown
Deal with the Clockwork for Security!
- Keep peace in Boomtown
- Defeat 10 Clockwork
You have defeated 10 Clockwork.
We used to laugh at the Clockwork. Not anymore. Well done,.
Missions (Level 10+)
Go to Steel Canyon and convince the Council that they're not welcome
Gimry Ridge and the Copper District would be good places to start.
The Council is still getting a lot of recruits from Steel Canyon.
- Combat Council in Steel Canyon
- Defeat 10 Council
You have stopped the Council from recruiting in Steel Canyon.
Thanks for helping out with that Council problem,. With heroes like you, we may be able to keep them small.
Go to Steel Canyon and stop the Council sabotage
There's a problem in Steel Canyon that I think you may be able to solve. The Council has been sabotaging a lot of businesses in the area: computer companies, scientific labs, anyone who might be producing technology that can aid Paragon City. You've got to get to Steel Canyon and stop the Council sabotage.
A good neighborhood to start in would be Royal Overlook. Or you cold try Bronze Way.
The Council is still sabotaging the businesses in Steel Canyon!
- Combat Council in Steel Canyon
- Defeat 10 Council
You have discouraged the Council from sabotaging the businesses in Steel Canyon.
Thanks,. I'm sure the businesses of Steel Canyon won't forget this.
Rescue Mason before the Council can torture him into assisting them
The Council has kidnapped Mason, the famous physicist. You have to rescue Mason before the Council can torture him into assisting them. You only have 1 hour to rescue Mason.
If you don't get to Mason quickly, the consequences could be grave.
Hurry up and rescue Mason from the Council.
The office appears empty, but you know you can't let your guard down.
- Save scientist from Council - 60:00
You rescued the scientist.
- The name of the physicist may vary. Possibilities include David, Joseph, Kyle, Lee, Mason and Stephens.
- Archon Snyder (Council Penumbra Archon)
- David/Joseph/Kyle/Lee/Mason/Stephens (Non-Escort Hostage)
We should keep our ear out for word on what the Council is putting together. I hear some of their scientists are skilled roboticists; it could be that they're working on some sort of mechanical army!
Find evidence leading to the rest of the Council bases
I need you to get over to a Council base on the double. My sources tell me it's a major link in the Council information network. They may well have information on the locations of other bases. I need you to find some evidence that will lead us to the rest of the Council bases. The sooner we can eliminate this threat, the better.
The base leader is a nasty fellow named Adjutant Breen. If you can take him into custody, he'll be an excellent source of information.
I really need to know the locations of the other Council cells.
From outside this building looks abandoned, but the stash of weaponry indicates otherwise.
- Arrest Breen and his guards
- The name of the enemy leader may vary. Possible names include Adjutant Breen, Adjutant Ender, Adjutant Hansen, and Adjutant Walker.
- Adjutant Breen/Ender/Hansen/Walker (Council Penumbra Adjutant)
Well, Adjutant Breen gave us all the information we needed, and more. According to Breen, the Council has a number of cells spread throughout the city, and each of them reports to a major base of operations on Striga Isle. , that scares me. It could be that the Council is a greater threat than we had ever guessed!
