Model listing

Hey Snorii,

I was able to dump a big listing of models. Check it out here. It includes some chess pieces, and some models for NPCs that may not have made it into the live game. -- StarGeekTalk page 22:59, 13 December 2006 (PST)

Echos and Aeons

Hey Snorii!

As for that couple, I'd say they finally changed the models to the right ones. If I remember correctly, there was even a thread about it in the forums, if you want to include it.

Now the older guy is Echo and the younger is Aeon (or at least it should be that, haven't reached that mission yet, though I will this week if everything goes as planned). I have found already Prof. Echo and the model is right, the older guy. I can confirm that right now.

As for the models in the images, they are the right ones: when I added them, I suspected they were swapped (the info of the chars suggested it), so I went ahead and declared the older guy as Echo and the younger as Aeon, like it eventually turned out to be =)

Will tell you about Aeon once I reach the mission. Anyways, he's now in Statesman TF too, so it should be easy to check =)

Legend of Ruladak

Icon clue generic.png
A native myth
After rescuing a second group of captives taken by the Nemesis Army to learn about the legend of Ruladak the Strong, Sara Moore told you:

'The Legend of Ruladak is about a monster that controls the Rularuu. We tell it ever since the madness broke the world, to remind us that we have to help each other to survive.

The legend goes that when the madness broke the world, there was a time when kindness walked the land and all were hopful. But then Ruladak the Strong appeared. He was angry because the People of Paragon had turned away from the Rularuu, and so he sought to slay the people of Paragon to punish them. Fearing for the people, all the kindness in the world gathered itself together and tried to destroy the Ruladak and the Rularuu. The battle lasted for days and broke the very islands, but in the end there was only enough kindness to force Ruladak into a deep slumber. He still guides the Rularuu in his sleep, but as long as kindness remains strong in the hearts of the People of Paragon, Ruladak will never awaken and we will be spared.

I know it must sound foolish to great heroes like you, but it's just a story for children. Though, I used to think that the Prince of Brass was just a story, too.'

Image Categories

Thanks for the help on those images I miscategorized. I appreciate the correction of my blunders. And I've made a fair number of them today... --Jumping Jack 20:47, 18 October 2007 (EDT)

I was hoping you'd have a viking Hero given your user name. How goes it, Mr. Sturluson?  :-D Marstead 09:36, 11 November 2007 (EST)

Hey Snorii! =)

Glad you like those little images, I hope everyone else will too! =) Some of them were hard to find, indeed... I'd like to keep a certain order with them: red background for villains (ie: Arachnos), blue background for heroes (ie: PPD). Much to my dismay, I discovered that changing the game background color didn't affect the background of the picture (Scrapyarders or Luddites would still get a red background, for example). If you know how to change it, please tell me!

Will post in the thread you mentioned too, there are a couple problems I could use help with...

And thanks for the feedback! =D

Thanks for Tesseract

This is NRemedy thanking you for including Mender Tesseract to the Ingame References article. I knew that information for a while, but never knew how to express it. Also, thanks for the shout-out in the history page for that article. NRemedy 17:25, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

Welcome Messages

Curious. Now that we've moved to Wikia, are the following statements in the standard Paragonwiki welcome messages still true?

[The Forum] will use the same name/password that you used when you signed up with the wiki.
If you ever feel the need to change your password, you will need to do so there instead of here in the wiki.

A Few Quick Questions

Sorry to bother you, and sorry if this s the wrong way to send messages, but I'm still fairly new to the wiki, and had a few quick questions: I noticed some users have pages like User:<name>/Secret_page, so is there a restriction on who can create personal pages, or a limit to that, is there a guideline for acceptable pages and non-acceptable ones such as that, am I doing this correctly, and (the question I feel the worst about having to ask) how do I upload my own images? Sorry if I'm bothering you. Mileerolje 18:07, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for the answers. Does the uploading tool put a category for the image based on the last page I was on before I clicked the link, or do I select a category of my own? (I just don't want to screw up, so I haven't touched it yet) Mileerolje 18:45, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

Thanks again. ^_^ Mileerolje 01:30, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

Category Creation

Hello, I have a question. What's the policy on creating new categories (sorry if I missed it; I looked on the help page and the forums but didn't see one)? The reason I ask is because I'm currently creating a bunch of reference pages for the wiki, and I was going to bind them and the (Ingame References page, which is related) under the category Category:Reference Pages. Are the editors allowed to create these, or is this a purely admin function (I've seen it done that way on some wikis); also, assuming this can be done at the editor level, can it be done outright or by forum consensus (again, I've seen some wikis that can go either way). Clarity on this would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.--Shinzakura 04:33, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

Potentially significant change to Pacific Time userbox...

I just changed the userbox for Pacific Time to be only 43px instead of the default image of 64px. The 43px is because that's what wikipedia suggests for the image size. I'm assuming this is okay but figured a note couldn't hurt. P.S. You suggest that we sign our entries in User Talk pages but you didn't sign yours.  :) --Torin23 23:25, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

So it's the site then... Well, that's a relief for me, at least now I know the problem isn't on my end. Thanks for sharing, Snorii! =D

Submitted Gate Crasher exploration badge picture

Its categorized so if you get around to doing it the right one its there for you. I figured since I was working on the Invader accolade I'd make the screenshot while on the mayhem. ChaosAlmighty 07:43, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the welcome. Nice suit design on Rode Orm, btw. Knight Chill 14:12, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Hey, question

Hey Snorii, thanks for welcoming me.

I have a question, is there a page for Issue 12 Patch Notes? If not, I would like to make one.

Tagging images

I've uploaded a few pics that are now obsolete. How do I tag them for deletion? Knight Chill 18:25, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

OK, {{Delete}} did the trick. I was trying to use {{ifd}}. Thanks. Knight Chill 19:14, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

Super Hero Wiki Suggestion

Hey there, I was just thinking that it would totally rock to have a Superhero / Supergroup Wiki set up so that players can post their toons, builds, etc and link them to the SGs and such that they belong to. Sort of a player made thing to have it so we can all line it up how we like it. And yes, I'm posting this because my SG page got moved to my talk page ;)

Would totally rock to have something like this. You guys should look into setting it up.

Super-Secret Admin?

I'm sure that what we have here is simply an honest copy/paste mistake (judging from the first edit to the page), but I thought maybe I should confirm that rather than just going in and nuking the blue box at the top of this user page. Well, that or someone's name needs to be added to the list of current admins.  :) --Eabrace 12:03, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

Frozen Aura

Not sure when it happened, but Frozen Aura in Ice Melee was added a damage component identical to that of Foot Stomp. It's an effective attack now. Freezing Touch in Ice Melee was also given significant damge. --GuyPerfect 23:20, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

RE: Recovery Image

Before the comprehensive endurance modification enhancements existed, there were two types of endurance modifying enhancements: One was endurance drain (used in electrical powers and others) and the other was endurance recovery (commonly used in Stamina among others). They combined these two types of enhancements into the current Endurance Modification enhancement. The same is true for the Cone Range enhancements. Cone range and regular range enhancements used to be separate, so range enhancements went into powers like fireball and cone range went into powers like frost breath and shiver. Character question

Thank you for the welcome. ^_^ I really appreciated that. Sorry it took me so long to say that.

The question I have is when I encounter Villain or Hero or anything like that in the Wiki, should the template Character be used instead?

Oh! Also, I would like to change Indigo's contact page to where the story arc missions will fall under the story arc name like in Crimson's page. Would that be all right? Thanks!! Xanthyr 02:28, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the answers! Hope you had a good vacation. I have one more question. I noticed that the NPC text is in chat boxes in the Rikti War Zone arcs. Should all the NPC dialog be in those boxes? All the ones I've been adding like on Crimson's page has been the NPC Text sections. I can go back through and convert them all to chat boxes. Xanthyr 18:18, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
Thank you again! I'll definitely use Edit to check out the coding behind the boxes. That's how I've been learning to use the Wiki code anyway. :> Thanks again for all the different templates! - Xanthyr 15:38, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

revert question

I am updating Mercy, Port and Oakes.. saw you revert something. Can I ask why? (UTC)

Ok. Well, they ought to be fine. Abbrevs are all over paragon (for origins Mag and nat and etc, RWZ, VEATs, etc.
