Coordinates

If we're going to do the multi-job locations, we need coordinates. Please give coordinates below. When two other people have verified yes, we can add it to the main article. Let's START OVER, when you get double-credit locations, please LIST THE COORDINATES here, then two other people (for double-checking) will verify your results. Whoever lists the coords, do not list your name under verified...those are for two OTHER people, for double-checking your results. -- Agge (talk) 02:32, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

I tested two of the listings out and was unable to verify either, so I've noted that below with the locations I tested. If you'd rather not have that information down there, feel free to remove it. Wasn't sure if it'd be helpful or not. On a side note, this behavior seems rather unintended. Should it be marked as a bug? -- Sekoia 04:02, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
Well we have reports from some members that the Pocket D ones are no longer functioning. This would suggest that its a bug that the Devs are removing the various locations using server side patches. CmdrAdeon 17:12, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
From the Training Room Patch notes 18.20081210.2:
Standing near the Black Helicopter in Grandville will no longer show two day job power icons. Only the Pilot day job icon will appear, this was done because only the Pilot Day job badge was receiving credit while standing in the area.
This leads me to believe that multiple day jobs at once is acceptable, if not intended. They removed a double icon because it wasn't awarding both. I feel the wording implies that they wouldn't have done anything if both were being awarded. --Fleeting Whisper 13:05, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
Or they're using the vewwy vewwy quiet policy on an "exploit." Rigel Kent 02:16, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Hero Locations

Talos Island: Base Portal/Tram dualcredit confirmed and moved to main page (see history for results). -- Agge (talk) 18:28, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

An additional note: entering your base through this portal and then logging out will put you in the correct spot for double credit when you log back in. If someone could verify this it might be worth adding to the main page. Redoubt 23:45, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
Attempted a few times, it puts you at random points nearish the portal, not in the same spot every time, so I am not going to advise adding that to the front page. -- Agge (talk) 20:02, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
In the I14 beta currently on test, the base portal has moved to the other side of the train station (behind Luminary) and slightly further out from the station. No more double-credit in that location. Get your double-credit on live while you can! :) --Eabrace 05:58, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

Villain Locations

Mercy Island: All previously listed coordinates have been confirmed or rejected. (See history for results.) -- Agge (talk) 22:39, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

  • The Black Helicopter near the Ferry to Port Oakes gives Pilot and Smuggler Badge Icons -1335.8 18.3 1646.6, Verifying bar progression now. --AnotherDeadHero 17:27, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
    • ((VERIFIED 1: Verified at (-1323.4, 18.3, 1610.2) Lothic 23:52, 31 January 2009 (UTC) )) ((VERIFIED 2: at (-1329.5, 18.3, 1618.1) Flamemaiden 20:50, 26 February 2009 (UTC) ))
  • The Base Portal in Fort Darwin gets credit toward Arachnos Agent and Monitor Duty at (-3830.6, 158.2, -2908.5) but multiple places around Base Portal seem to work. -- Lothic 23:52, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
    • ((VERIFIED 1: at (-3826.7, 158.2, 2907.2) Flamemaiden 19:20, 14 February 2009 (UTC) )) ((VERIFIED 2: (-3822.2, 158.2, -2903.0) --Stfrn 17:37, 17 March 2009 (UTC)))

Sharkhead:

  • Between Arachnos minifort (with Arbiter and Tech/Sci quartermasters) and Siren's Call Flyer. Arachnos Agent and Pilot. Try 285.2 63.9 -1090.5. - Baalus Seth 19:22, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
    • ((VERIFIED 1:)) ((VERIFIED 2:))

St. Martial:

  • The helicopter in the Arachnos base gets credit toward Pilot and Arachnos Agent. Coordinates (19.7, 22.8, 2424.1) (Coordinates added by Liliaceae. I've been getting credit for both by standing between the pilot and the copter.)
    • ((VERIFIED 1: at (238.9, 72.3, 2911.3) Wait. . . different location?--Eabrace 06:51, 9 February 2009 (UTC))) ((VERIFIED 2:))

- I usually stand near the near the PvP zone sign, but this location does work; I've been using it since early i13. (So I don't have coords, but the whole area works. Syrusb 21:15, 20 March 2009 (UTC)

  • The ferry in the Arachnos base gets credit toward Smuggler and Arachnos Agent. Coordinates (x, y, z)
    • ((VERIFIED 1:)) ((VERIFIED 2: ))
    • Unless there's some special spot, or it's changed since December, this is not the case. One of my alts got most of his Smuggler badge in St. Martial but not a single second toward Arachnos Agent. Flamemaiden

Grandville:

  • The door in the hospital area gets credit toward Arachnos Official and Pain Specialist. Coordinates (x, y, z)
    • ((VERIFIED 1: )) ((VERIFIED 2: ))
    • I don't think this is true at all. Captainmoodswing 23:29, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
  • Standing on the ferry in Grandville goes towards Smuggler and Arachnos Official, I believe. Due to how big the ferry is, no coordinates really required. Sera404 19:30, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
  • Grandville is coded to award cred for one day job at a time despite any icon indicators. I tried many locations near both black helicopters, in the hospital and on the docks to get combo badges and never received simultaneous credit.Syrusb 05:38, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

Co-Op/PVP Locations

Pocket D: All multi-badge locations have been confirmed unavailable anymore. Removing from the main page. -- Agge (talk) 17:23, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Rikti War Zone: All multi-badge locations have been confirmed/rejected and added to the main page if applicable. (See history for results.) -- Aggelakis 16:56, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Cimerora

  • Inside the Cave by the hospital gets credit towards Caregiver/Pain Specialist and Cimeroran. Checked inside the back 'heroside' rez ring at (-683.0, -38.5, 4870.0) Catwhoorg 11:52, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
    • ((VERIFIED 1: )) ((VERIFIED 2: ))
    • I left my character at your coordinates last night but when I checked today I had only gotten Caregiver credit. Can you please double check your coordinates? Thanks CmdrAdeon 05:24, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
    • I logged on a character parked there and got only single credit now. The Devs do seem to be getting through these slowly.Catwhoorg 12:39, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Siren's Call:

  • Standing by the Black Helicopter gives credit for Predator and Pilot. (-1176.0, -145.0, 1710.1) Added by Liliaceae.
    • ((VERIFIED 1: )) ((VERIFIED 2: ))
  • I can debunk this one; I tried for both badges in a bunch of different spots in Siren's and BBay, but despite the icon's indications, never received credit for Pilot and Predator simultaneously. Both Siren's and BBay seem coded to allow time for one day job at a time. -Syrusb 05:32, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

Recluse's Victory:

  • After converting a pillbox to your side standing anywhere in the converted sector gives dual-credit to both Monitor Duty and Predator. As stated, this is in ANY sector, so basically any location anywhere on the map, as long as the region you're in has had its pillbox converted to your side. Due to the nature of it being literally at any location in the given sector giving coordinates is 100% impossible. I'm not sure if this is actually dual-credit or just a case of the icon appearing incorrectly. I'd like to see some actual verification one way or the other rather than just having my comment sniped this time please. Added by Knight9910.
I'd have to imagine this one would be fairly dynamic since Day Job badge credit is not based on where you log out so much as where you log in at (i.e. Monitor Duty), so even if you log out in a spot where your side has converted a pillbox, you won't get credit for both badges unless you log into that same spot while it's under the control of your side. Now, I don't play in PvP zones all that often, but can you even log out in the middle of a PvP zone and log back in at the same spot, or do you spawn in the base when you log back in? --Eabrace 04:46, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
Based on my experience working on RV Isolator, you do log back in the same as any other zone in the game. --Blondeshell 06:07, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
OK, so that being the case, it would be a matter of timing it correctly and logging your character back in while that area is under control of the correct side. --Eabrace 06:17, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
