Pumpkin Heads

Are the pumpkin heads a temp power? Image Link - Snorii 13:39, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

Found out, it is a special helmet costume part. Image Link - Snorii 13:51, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

Thursday testing

A couple of specific requests for this Thursday's testing of the event, given I am unlikely to be able to attend:

  1. Faultline. They fixed RWZ for this year's event, have they done similar with Faultline, or is the event inactive there like last year?
  2. Bloody Bay. According to last year's page, BBay had a bug in the event where the zone considered itself a lvl 20 zone for the event, even though everyone was SK/EXed to 25, which made trick or treating in the zone impossible. Could someone please try to ToT in the zone and confirm whether or not ToT works in BBay this year. - Sister Leortha 23:57, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
Confirmed as of 2:30 AM EST, 19 October, still can't Trick or Treat in Bloody Bay. Ditto for Ouroboros. Was able to ToT in Cimerora and in RWZ (outside the main base) as a 47th level brute. Would not recommend Cimerora, as there doesn't seem to be much in way of close clusters of mission doors. RWZ seems to be about the best place to ToT for 40+ villains, as it's much more conveniently laid out than Grandville. Urizen 07:23, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

Really, Really Long, Really, Really

We should split off some of the stuff into its own page, and then link to them from each of the Halloween Event [Year] pages instead of including them in it. -- Aggelakis 17:01, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

May need to revisit ToT

On Sunday I TOTed solo for a while in Brickstown before hooking up with a team. I was able to click each door at least 2-3 times before I had to move on. Will check it tomorrow since I plan to TOT until all my characters have the extra costume salvage.. I have a ton so that means for two solid weeks! LOL

Also it is still possible to camp ONE door on a team. Yeah after a few click each member has to wait a bit before they can click again but on an 8 man team I stayed at the same door for almost 3 hours and we always had at least one group out to battle. In all I managed all but one costume badge, all but the spirit badge for door villains and have yet to tackle Jack or Eochia. Spirits seem to be very elusive .. you only need 20 but I think in 3 hours I may have seen 2-3. Maybe they are hanging out with Jack in Irons? Just like last year everyone is desperately looking for Jack while Eochia appears regularly. By the way ...I love how the Zombies rise out of the sidewalk.. very cool! The personal timer is ten seconds. The door timer (per character, not per door) is five minutes. You can click a door unlimited number of times, I parked myself in front of two sets of double doors (four doors) along with two to six other teammates and clicked for two hours straight. -- Aggelakis 04:49, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
Yeah I just finished ToTing for the night and tried it as soon as I logged on . I forgot I was at a double door and playing solo it took my controller just long enough to polish off the ghouls that emerged when she got a trick that the timer was reset on the first door by the time I clicked it again. Tonight I polished off one mob fast and got a treat from the other door.. I had to relocate. Neither door would let me click! Now an 8 man team can camp at one set of doors for hours TRUST me I know! lol
My 39 level Troller now has all the badges but Jack ... did get to fight him once but it was a small team, we arrived late, and did not do 10% of the total damage ;-( Ahh well there is always tomorrow!
BTW the Zombie invasion is awesome in my opinion. I love how they emerge from out of the ground and the graphic detail is fantastic ... they look really nasty LOL On a good team you can get all 4 badges in one invasion too... much nicer than the Rikiti Invasions and a lot less lag. Okay less in Brickstown anyway just as I was logging for the night one kicked off in Talos and it Lag was awful but it had been bad all night even before the Zombies arrived. One thing I noticed... unlike the Rikti invasions the other villains don't clear the streets which may account for the added lag in Talso which is always the worst zone for lag as far as I am concerned. At least around Wentworths and the train station which is where I was when the invasion started. Think I will do my Zombie fighting elsewhere for the duration .
