Issue 22 updates

Calling all GuyPerfects! Calling all GuyPerfects! A data dump of the new power details would be loverly :) ~ AGGE talk/cons 21:31, 25 March 2012 (UTC)

Well hot dang, I think I know a Guy who can help out with that! --GuyPerfect 22:08, 25 March 2012 (UTC)
I have just started going through the old powersets with pets and updating the documentation of their powers to be more clean and uniform, using the Mastermind henchmen format as a basis. This is the first article I've come across, though, with the Resistances for the pets formatted as they are under Singularity, using color coded abbreviations and numbers. The articles I've seen/edited already just list them as Res(Smaashing, Lethal) etc. Is the method used here preferred?
For reference, the articles I've done a pass on already are Ice Control, Plant Control, and Fire Control. The article I primarily used as a format reference is Robotics (though note that currently not all Mastermind henchmen have their inherent powers documented, something else I intended to get to). Singularity

Does anyone know what the Intangible Enhancment "Enhances", the Intangibility of Singularities is a constant effect, that is either on or off, in this case its on all the time, and its not making the Singularity any more Intangible, you either walk through it, or cant walk through it. So what aspect does adding Intangibles to Singularity actually affect? Baaleos 07:42, 15 March 2007 (PDT)

I do believe Singularity used to have its own Intangibility power, akin to Dimension Shift. After a few complaints, this was removed. Here we go, from http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Patch_Notes/2004-06-03 "Removed Dimension Shift from Singularity." --Jay Leon Hart 17:58, 4 July 2011 (UTC)
Great catch, guys (even though Baaleos's question is four years old)! I've added a note about this to the Historical section of the article. --GuyPerfect 19:33, 4 July 2011 (UTC)

Propel

Better suited for the Propel (Gravity Control) article

Propel is a gravity Controllers most powerful offensive-damaging Gravity Control power, the others are all holds or immobilizers, this power is more visually impressive opposed to actualy useful, it roots the user, and has a long animation sequence. The objects before issue 7 used to appear, hit their target, then disappear, as of issue 7, physics was added, and they now litter the areas where the power is used, and can be affected by other gravity powers and wind effects, best example of the physics effect is with Snow Storm blowing these objects in a whirlwind fashion, larger objects will not be moved as much. Objects possible to be thrown include, but are not limited to, because new objects are created with each issue it seems

Fold Space power

Found this in the pigg files for cov/coh.. Never heard mention of it b4, Its a power called FoldSpace. Here is its icon GravityControl FoldSpace.png

Sorry for the really late reply, but I think Fold Space might have gone live or at least was around near the end of beta, but at some point, the devs replaced Fold Space with Singularity giving Gravity Control their own pet. Fold Space was a group teleport that allowed you to teleport your entire team to your location just like Assemble the Team I assume. Does anyone have any more info on this, like when it was changed? We definitely need to add a mention of the power in a Notes section. - Snorii 15:04, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
I believe it was changed after the game went live. I'll look when I get home, but I think Fold Space appears in the original game manual (back when all of the power sets were listed in the manual.) In fact, the downloaded version of the manual I have from when they were updating it for CoV launch shows the Fold Space icon next to the description of Singularity. [Edit: The first mention of see of Singularity in the Patch Notes is on 2004-09-14 when its movement rate was increased at Issue 2 release. The change had to have been made prior to this. Pure speculation on my part, but I'm thinking it was probably part of a patch between release and 2004-06-16 where the patch notes are missing and possibly lost to antiquity. I didn't start playing until Issue 2, so I can't speak from experience.] --Eabrace 16:40, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
