Gender

I see that Thalomarre changed the gender of Calystix back in October and I was curious if the devs changed the gender via description or something else. As far as I know, Calystix is a female, and was curious if anyone has anymore information saying otherwise. Thanks, - Snorii 09:36, 13 November 2007 (EST)

As far as I know, Calystix has always been male. He clearly uses the male model in the screenshot on this site, his description calls him a priest and not a priestess, and the text in game refers to him by the masculine pronoun. Take, for example the debriefing of one of Diviner Maros' missions:
"This Calystix must be attempting to restart his cult. But this time, he may be able to complete his aim. Particularly if he sacrifices you."
I did think it was odd that his description here matched the one in game exactly with the sole exception of gender ("Priestess" instead of "priest", etc). But the text I quoted (and had not previously edited) is exactly as it reads on this site and, as I pointed out, the character in the image is definitely male. Maybe there was some confusion on the part of whoever wrote his in-game description that's since been cleared up? - Thalomarre 01:02, 14 November 2007 (EST)
