Soldiers of Rularuu

Description

Observers are lieutenants of the Soldiers of Rularuu.

The denizens of the Shadow Shard have learned never to look a Sentry directly in the eye. By doing so, they become vulnerable to the Sentries' Paralytic Gaze, which can hold a person in place, unable to defend himself.

Location

Observers may be found throughout the Shadow Shard zone, as well as in various missions and task forces.

The Sentry has Held you with it's Paralytic Gaze.

Chomp

Melee Heavy Lethal

Sentries can Chomp down on nearby foes.

Optic Blast

-SPD, -Recharge, -DEF

The Optic Blast of the Sentry has a paralytic effect. Your attack and movement speed, as well as your defense, is reduced.

Quill Blast

Cone Lethal, Med Damage, Knockback

The Sentry can hurl its quills in a cone arc and impale a group of foes. Impaled foes may be knocked down.

Notes

• Observers can see stealthed and invisible heroes.
• Their range of view to notice enemies is average, but the Optic Blast power has a very long range of attack.
• They are immune to several hold powers including sleep and confuse. However, they are vulnerable to domination and fear.
• Flight is an inherent power for Observers. While knockdown attacks do cause damage, Observers cannot be grounded.
