Information

Wyvern Field Operative

Sgt. Byron Schorr is in charge of the Hammers of Justice, a division of Wyvern that leverages reforming villains by appealing to their weak spot: their wallets. The Hammers are paid well to use their villainous connections in order to bring down some of the most notorious figures in the Rogue Isles.

Contact Unlocked

Sgt. Schorr of the Hammers of Justice has an urgent message for you.

Sgt. Schorr is leading up a group called the Hammers of Justice, and is recruiting Rogues in the St. Marital area for his little band of merry men and women.

This contact has now been added to the active tab of your Contact window. This contact's storyline takes place after Night Ward and Dark Astoria.

Initial Contact

Greetings. I am Sgt. Byron Schorr of Wyvern, and we're setting up a new experimental group of individuals like yourself. We're called the Hammers of Justice and I've assembled a group of converting villains who still have useful contacts here in the Rogue Isles. Your specific talents are the last piece of the puzzle.

Greetings

Good Day, Hammer

Wyvern is still going over the data, but after that last bit, I am not sure we'll be reactivating the Hammers anytime soon.

Welcome to the Hammers

Briefing

I can assure you one thing: when this is all over, you will be paid handsomely for your efforts in taking down the scum of the Rogue Isles.

  • Sounds good, where do I sign and how do I get paid?

You'll get paid after we get enough work out of you. In case something happens to you, we don't want to waste our funding in bank accounts that dead men can't access. You understand? You're the last member of the team, but you're also the one I expect to do most of the heavy lifting. I want you to go to this warehouse and meet the other three members of your group: Colleague, Second Measure, and Network.

Unnecessary Solicitation

You need to meet up with the other members of your team.

Mission Objective(s)

This warehouse is a weird place to have a meeting.

Colleague

Briefing

You must be the new +++ Missing Information +++ / girl. You can call me Colleague. I've been working for Arachnos ever since I got my powers, but I've finally decided to go straight, much like yourself. If you have any questions I am happy to answer them for you.

  • Why are you going straight?

It started when I had a run-in with Positron. He kicked my ass soundly but saw that my heart wasn't really in the fight. He kinda recruited me there on the spot. I've been sending him info on Arachnos breakthroughs ever since.

  • How did you get recruited?

Positron again. He set me up with Sgt. Schorr from Wyvern, and the Sergeant told me about the group he was putting together. Sgt. Schorr wants us using our connections to various groups before our shifting loyalties are fully exposed. I think it is a solid plan, but what really sold me was the big, fat Hazard-pay style paycheck at the end. This girl's got bills to pay, you know?

  • Anything else?

Just remember who helped you out once this is all over.

  • Leave

Briefing

Ah, Character, I've been expecting the likes of you. I am Second Measure, as in 'that what follows the first cut.' Any questions?

  • Why are you working for Wyvern?

Two things, first is the money. Second is that I find my life expectancy grows shorter for every assassination I would perform for the Tsoo as a contract killer. I know that eventually they will grow tired of my Westerner ways.

  • How did you get recruited?

I was sent in to kill a high ranking Wyvern official, but when I saw that he was with his wife and kid I... I couldn't go through with it. The official noted my hesitation and put tabs on me. When he saw I was going soft, he put the feelers out to put my talents to better use. I contacted him and he immediately recruited me into the Hammers of Justice.

  • Anything else?

I'll help you against the Tsoo, but they are a fickle bunch. My word might not weigh as much as it used to.

  • Leave

Contact Small Network.jpg
Network

Briefing

Network rattles off a bounty of information concerning you, about 80% of which you thought no one could know.

  • How did you learn that much about me?

Two words: The Internet. You'd be amazed what a little algorithm can bring up. Folks around here call me Network. I worked as the info-man for the Family here in the Rogue Isles for years. I have so much information on them that I'd be crazy not to try to profit off of it.

  • Profit?

Yeah, the Hammers are willing to pay me to help get their operatives to their targets. Use my insider knowledge before it becomes common knowledge that I sold my loyalties. That sort of thing.

  • Won't you betray all of us to a higher paycheck?

Let's just say there are personal reasons I won't go back to the Family. Now, let's get down to business.

  • Leave

Debriefing

You four make up quite a weird crew, but I'll take it. Let me see if I have any assignments I can throw your way...

Deep Sixed

Briefing

OK, Colleague has a, um, colleague in Arachnos who can possibly be persuaded to work with us. His name is Dr. Gilmartin and he is part of a secret project called 'Deep Six', dealing with the Coralax.

Great, Colleague said the doctor will meet you at the lab where Project Deep Six is being worked on. Talk with him and then take out whoever is in charge of that show.

  • What's it to you?
I need you to assure me that none of this is getting back to me. I can't leave Arachnos just yet. If you can do that, then I can get you the proper codes to get you straight to the leader of this whole project.
  • I'll make sure they don't track anything back to you
Good, good.

Good, good. You're looking for Dr. Hyperbaric. He's in charge of this whole operation. Once you take him down, I should be promoted to his position. You have to understand that I can't help you any further if they trace undoing back to me, right?
  • Yes, nothing will come back to you!
Excellent. Here's the passcode for this base. Everyone here will assume that you're supposed to be here... Until you start a fight anyway!

Assassination Interception

Briefing

Second Measure has the lowdown on one of his fellow assassins. Some guy named Rising Vengeance. Measure is currently at one of the Tsoo safehouses here in St. Martial where Rising Vengeance is holed up. Go meet with him and get the information on the target so we can put some protection on them.

  • Go see Second Measure.

Second Measure can be difficult to work with, has his own priorities a lot of the time. Remember the primary focus of this mission is to find out who the Tsoo are targeting.

Unnecessary Solicitation

You need to deal with Rising Vengeance and learn who that target is.

  • Boring way.
Sigh, boring way eh? Alright. I'll radio ahead and give the Tsoo a description of you and put you on the guest list. You won't have an issue getting past them. When you get to Rising Vengeance, tell him I've offered to help out his hit. Get him to tell you who the target is.
  • You're right, does sound boring. Let's do this the fun way instead.
All right. You go in and take down all the Tsoo you see, I'll get to Rising Vengeance's personal effects and figure out who the target is. You just deal with Rising Vengeance when you come across him.

And who might you be?

  • Second Measure sent me, told me he's been sent to help your current mission.

Measure, eh? He's good, I'd be happy to have his help on this one. Target's name is Fitzhume, some executive. Tell him to meet me at the guy's house out in Nerva.

  • I am afraid that's not how this is going to go down.

What??!

  • Fight!

Great work. Based on the info you and Second Measure gave us, the guy is a bank executive who lives in Nerva named Fitzhume. We're sending operatives to Fitzhume's house to ensure his security right away. I hope everything went cleanly?

Mute

Briefing

Network has the location of one Steve 'Mute' Mutombo. This guy's been arrested more times than any other Family member, and he's never flipped on them. He's done like 12 years in the Zig covering for others, and that earned him his nickname. He was broken out a few months back and is living in the Rogue Isles outside of any extradition. Now we know he probably won't talk so we're not asking you to interrogate him.

  • What are you asking me to do then?

Trick him into giving something up. If that fails, beat him into submission. That's the one method the cops in Paragon never tried.

Unnecessary Solicitation

Still here? Go talk to Network

Mission Objective(s)

Target known as Mute is somewhere in this facility. Now I am willing to help you, but I need a favor in return.

  • Favor? We're all on the same team here!
At the end of the day, I'm on only one team: Team Network. The Hammers is a good payday, but I am thinking it can be better.
I'm not going in so I am not getting the hazard pay you are, but if you let the bosses know that I -was- in trouble, then we can both profit nicely from this op.
  • Stuff it, Network. I'll deal with Mute without your help.
Listen, that kind of attitude is what made me flip on the Family and join the Hammers to begin with. Don't make me regret my choice.
This selection loops to another branch of this conversation which is already documented.
  • Ok, I'll see about getting you some hazard pay.
Ok, I've texted all the Family here, and they know to give you a wide berth. Said you were here on behalf of the big boss himself. They should leave you alone until you try to take out Mute anyway. Make sure you hit their computers and get any intel you can.

(Mute shakes his head) Yeah, I put the body in the usual place, just like I always do.

Wha-? Intruder!
  • Boss said he didn't get the usual confirmation. Sent me to make sure.
Mute sighs
How is it MY FAULT that Jake at the junkyard can't make a simple call? I put the body in the trunk, he's the one that crushed it, he should have made the call when it was all done.

Colleague has something for us. She's in the lab of one 'Digiwench', an Arachnos project leader who works for Black Scorpion. We need you to uncover what the Scorpion is working on, and then bust the op before it can even truly begin.

Digiwench has a special nano-assembly robot project to auto repair combat armors like Black Scorpion's. You need to gather up the data she has collected and then put an end to her and her operation.
  • OK, thanks. By the way, I am pretty sure I could have figured out all this without your help.

Bronze Armor

Briefing

Second Measure has the location of one of the Tsoo's top lieutenants, who goes by the name Bronze Talon. This guy is always with his bodyguard, so it's not going to be an easy hit. Second Measure believes that this is pretty much our best shot at taking him out though.

  • Tell me about the bodyguard.
He's a thug, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the bodyguard thing might be a ruse. The bodyguard is probably Bronze Talon himself. No bodyguard lasts that long by being as thug-like as that one has been acting. I've alerted the safehouse to your presence, and that you are here on my authority. I'm taking a huge risk here, but you're the one doing all the wet work.
