As you can tell, Ghost Widow and I have been investigating how to track down Darrin Wade. Recluse is not pleased about Statesman's death.

Now, understand that this isn't some sort of misguided brotherly love. Recluse wants Wade dead because he possesses the power of Statesman and can be a threat to his power.

I was returning here to report that I've been able to pick up on Darrin Wade's magical signature and track where he went last. You are, no doubt, extremely capable, given how much Wade has tried to kill you all of this time. I propose that we all work together in tracking Wade down. I have the information you need, and you have the power and nobility to follow this through to the end.

• Of course I'll work together with you, but what about your master, Recluse?

Lord Recluse will have to deal with the fact that there is a hero working with us. We are all well aware that the major forces of the world are currently spread very thin.

It's ironic, really, that it has come down to Arachnos having the most interest and organization in pulling together to track down Darrin Wade, even if Recluse's own goals aren't as altruistic as one would hope.

I should warn you, Character, to not be too trusting of the organization. Recluse will do what it takes to end Wade, but if I know him, he will not hesitate to try to take you out as well, should the opportunity present itself. I will, unfortunately, have to follow through and aid him, should the order be given to me.

It makes sense, really, given all of his dealings with Rularuu. From what we could tell, he went to the Chantry, the place where Faathim the Kind resides.

I'll be heading there shortly to do what I can to track him down. I assume that I will see you in there.

Scirocco holds his hands up at your words.

Perhaps you should, Character. I've done many horrible crimes in the past, and I most likely will continue to do so. However, out of all the patrons you could be speaking to, I would nominate myself to be the most trustworthy.

I want nothing more than to stop Darrin Wade from taking over the world as Rularuu; believe me, I have had my proposals for changing the world, and having Wade rule it is not one of them.

If you wish to arrest me, there will be plenty of chances for you to do so afterwards. Right now, however, myself and Arachnos are your best chance at tracking down Wade, as much as that must boil your blood.

I should strike you down here and now for attacking Ghost Widow, but I understand you most likely would be able to best me, much like you've bested Darrin Wade's attempts at defeating you.

You are looking for Wade, much like we are in Arachnos. I would propose that we merge our two goals together to get this task accomplished. I understand you may have a rather sordid history with Arachnos, but I can assure you that we only seek to destroy Wade utterly in all of this.

I have the information needed to track him down, but I need to know that you're willing to work together with Arachnos to do this.

• Fine, we'll work together. Just tell Recluse this doesn't make me his lackey.

Of course, Character. You are not tied directly to the organization like I am. There is no 'lackey' title being thrown about.

Arachnos could use all the help it could get, as I understand it. We are the last major organized force who is available to go against Darrin Wade. As we speak, monsters of Rularuu are appearing all over the world. Vanguard is fighting them off, while the United Nations have requested the presence of Longbow and even the Paragon Police Department to travel abroad to help.

Lord Recluse has ordered the soldiers of Arachnos to fortify the defenses within Grandville and Cap au Diable, leaving only the patrons, himself, and a select few Bane Spiders left to handle this.

You aren't working for us, Character. We would be working together, as equals. Recluse may not admit it, but I am willing to, if it means saving the world.

I am sure you have your own plans and devices for working this out in your favor. Whatever they are, they will require that we both work together. There are precious few people left in the world who have the attention to deal with this situation. You are one of them, along with the higher ups within Arachnos.

We must all pull together if we're to stop Darrin Wade from destroying everything.
