While the individual parts of multi-aspect IOs provide smaller bonuses than single aspect enhancements do, their aggregate value is higher. For powers where you desire to enhance multiple attributes, Set IOs provide substantially more benefit than either common IOs or classic origin-based enhancements.

  • 2 L53 Heal SOs & 2 L53 Rech SOs = 2 * 38.3% = 76.0% each after ED
  • 3 L50 Heal/Rech Set IOs (mixed sets) = 3 * 26.5% = 78.6% each after ED

In other words, 3 properly-chosen Set IOs can provide more benefit than 4 equivalent SOs. And this calculation does not even include Set Bonuses.
