How to Get
Defeat 25 "signature heroes", initially encompassing Mayhem Mission heroes, but later expanded to many different groups.

Notes
- The Hero Slayer badge is awarded to characters of the villain and rogue alignments. The same badge on heroes and vigilantes is called Bloody Hands.
- Any enemy from the following groups count:
- Does not have to be of Hero rank to count.
- Other good places to find groups of enemies that count include the Lord Recluse Strike Force, signature heroes in Recluse's Victory, Take out the Vindicators mission from Abyss, and Tip Missions.
- Demons summoned by Infernal, the Tuatha summoned by Woodsman, and Spectral Servants summoned by Malaise all count. --Verified Issue 21
- The equivalent Safeguard Mission badge is Villain Disruptor.
History
Prior to Issue 16, Hero Slayer required defeating 100 heroes.
