Talk:Incarnate Shard Component

How do we get the other components (4 shards needed, or awarded by an activity/purchased from Vanguard) to show up in the Used In section of this page? ~ AGGE talk/cons 21:28, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

Playing around a bit, I got it to work with these DPL blocks:
<DPL>
format=,,,
category=Common Incarnate Components
namespace=
allowcachedresults=true
mode=userformat
replaceintitle=/ Salvage$/,
includepage={IComponent}.dpl
distinct=strict
resultsheader=\n<h3>Common Incarnate Components</h3>
suppresserrors=true
secseparators=\n* [[%PAGE%]]
titlematch=%
</DPL>
<DPL>
format=,,,
category=Uncommon Incarnate Components
namespace=
allowcachedresults=true
mode=userformat
replaceintitle=/ Salvage$/,
includepage={IComponent}.dpl
distinct=strict
resultsheader=\n<h3>Uncommon Incarnate Components</h3>
suppresserrors=true
secseparators=\n* [[%PAGE%]]
titlematch=%
</DPL>
<DPL>
format=,,,
category=Rare Incarnate Components
namespace=
allowcachedresults=true
mode=userformat
replaceintitle=/ Salvage$/,
includepage={IComponent}.dpl
distinct=strict
resultsheader=\n<h3>Rare Incarnate Components</h3>
suppresserrors=true
secseparators=\n* [[%PAGE%]]
titlematch=%
</DPL>
Just need to figure out how to translate those into the templates without breaking anything now. --Eabrace Healthbar notify phone.png 23:14, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

Even con or just non-gray con?

I sorta fixed the statement that shards will only drop off of level 50 enemies. But I'm not sure if they can drop off of enemies that are lower level or not. Some place I remember reading that they have to be at least even level to drop, but I can't find the reference. Anyone know for certain? Still needs better copy/editing. -- StarGeekTalk page 22:07, 9 July 2011 (UTC)

Enemies need to con white to drop (meaning a level 51 enemy if you are Alpha+1), but I can't find the patch note that says so. I'm still digging. I'll find the dern thing! ~ AGGE talk/cons 04:32, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
I am wrong - went testing with my Lv50 who doesn't have Alpha applied. If you are exemplared, they need to con white as far as I can tell (spent a while exemplared to Lv23 killing things in Dark Astoria, which ranges from Lv21 to Lv29 - never got a shard off things below Lv23). If you are your natural level, they need to be capable of other drops - so green or higher (spend a while killing things in Peregrine Island, got drops off both a level 48 minion [green] and a level 50 lieutenant [yellow]).
No idea how the Alpha shift applies do that in regards to natural level enemies. ~ AGGE talk/cons 04:49, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
Now, note that my test sample is pretty small (around 150 kills exemplared, around 70 kills natural) so this could just be bad luck in regards to the exemplared part. ~ AGGE talk/cons 04:50, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
