Deactivated Arachnos Spider

Alignment Mission

You pick up a deactivated Arachnos spider and tinker around with it a bit, looking to see if you can pry any information out of it. After a few minutes, you see a hologram shoot up of a pre-recorded message. The person delivering the message is Black Scorpion, who doesn't seem to be too pleased.

Listen up! You guys have heard of that Savage Siren, right? Well, we're puttin' a stomp on her actions. She's one of them mercenaries that went and stole a bunch of my schematics to sell to the highest bidder! One of our squads has her now, but we're gonna need back up since they're in Paragon.

You guys make sure to take this spider and get a recording of what's gonna happen to her. We're gonna make an example out of her to all them mercs and rogues in Paragon and the Rogue Isles. You take a job against Arachnos or Black Scorpion and you're gonna pay. And by pay, I mean get ripped limb from limb. After we find out who hired her, of course. Then we'll find the client she's workin' for and rip THEM limb from limb too! That oughta show anyone lookin' to hire them to think twice! Bahahaha! Black Scorpion, OUT.

While it might be nice to have some competition eliminated, it won't bode well for business if Savage Siren is savagely killed. No one is going to put out contracts against Arachnos or buy any of their stolen goods if Arachnos manages to get away with this. While a true hero might arrest Savage Siren for her crimes, someone like you might just try to make sure she gets out of there alive. If not, well, then you might see a number of high-priced contracts for Arachnos suddenly dissappear from the market!

HERO: Save Savage Siren

Paragon City might be bringing out the pro-bono side of you. There isn't much money to be made now by saving Savage Siren's life, but you'll be able to stick it to Arachnos whenever you like in the future and earn a good paycheck from it.

You're able to easily locate the 'secret' Arachnos base in Paragon where they're holding her. You could get there quick enough to find Savage Siren and get her out of there.

• Save Savage Siren

You use the deactivated Arachnos Spider to pinpoint the exact location of the Arachnos base. Time to make your move and ensure that there's money to be made in the future.

You'll have to move if you're going to recover Savage Siren in time!

Alright, I'll tell you whatever you want to know, just stop beating me!

• Where is Savage Siren?

She's all the way in the back, but we've got Black Scorpion's security here. You'll never be able to get through all of them, not when it's that heavily fortified!
You'll need to figure out a way to lure out the patrols one by one. Perhaps by activating an emergency alarm of some sorts.

• Where's the alarm system located?

The Webmaster gives you the details of where you can find the alarm system for the base. You'll just need to activate it and beat down the incoming guards in order to soften up the defense around Savage Siren.

You knock out the Webmaster. Time to head towards that alarm system!

Savage Siren: What? Character? Why are you here?

Fortunata Mistress: Character? This is unexpected, to say the least.

Once Freed:

Savage Siren: I... don't know what to say. Why did you help me?

Savage Siren conversation

Character... Why did you save me? I don't have any money or anything to give you. You do understand that, right? You won't be getting anything out of this.

• Just tell your client to keep putting out contracts on Arachnos.

Alright. But I think you're getting soft. I would've never rescued you for free, even if it meant losing a client. But I guess that's what makes me different from you, isn't it?

• ... You're welcome.

Debriefing

Savage Siren wasn't exactly thankful for your rescue, but you never really expected someone like her to be.

Though, what she said still rings in your mind. Is she right that you're starting to grow soft? Is being around Paragon really starting to rub off on how you act?
