Overview

Issue 8, titled To Protect and Serve has not been released yet. It has a current ETA of September 2006.

Veteran Reward system - System that rewards players for every three months that their account has been active. (Confirmed by Positron)
- Trenchcoat costume piece confirmed as the first (3 month) reward from the Veteran Reward System.
Legacy system - System for further improving level 50 characters. (System confirmed by Positron. Name of the system was not confirmed, though)
First set of new story content to build up towards the expansion box.

Warshades for City of Villains, unlocked by a Trial/Strike Force, not simply by reaching level 50. (Confirmed by Positron as being before the upcoming expansion box, which should put it in either I8 or I9.)
Wings as costume pieces. (Rumor status. Totally unconfirmed so far.)
Character transfer service (Server to server transfers). (Mentioned by CuppaJo as being close to done, she was hopeing for it to make I8. Not "Confirmed" yet since it's still not certain it'll make it in.)
